Vsett Website
Vsett scooters came along and have taken the electric scooter market to the forefront with some remarkable moves. Vsett Website. For instance, while GoTrax has struggled with equipping their scooters with suspension, the cheapest of the Vsett scooters rocks suspension with two springs.
In contrast, even though Minimotors is unable to get its scooters certified IP however, all Vsett’s models are IP54-certified, making them highly reliable as year-round scooters. It’s important to note that every Vsett scooter comes with the NFC key card immobiliser which indicates how seriously the company takes its work in the field of smart scooter design.
Vsett Intelligent Technology Co is just a few years old in the electric scooter world, but they are an organization that scooter enthusiasts must keep their eyes on. The Vsett 9+ is one this kind of marvel. The intricate craftsmanship is detailed to the letter. You may be awed by the curving design of the handlebars, or the low weight of this dual motor scooter, there’s plenty to entice your taste. It’s fast and can cover long distances, which is a great feature for those interested in the commuter scooter. Vsett Website.
The scooter doesn’t weigh tons as do other dual-motor, dual suspension, large capacity batteries on performance scooters. Additionally, it comes equipped with Vsett’s proprietary three-stem locking system that makes this scooter lightweight enough to be carried on public transport or in the trunk of your vehicle.
VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to the VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and handles that can be collapsed. Vsett Website. It is larger than the deck, and it also comes with an new clamp, which is similar to the clamps you find on Rion scooters. Rion scooters.
The clamp I saw on the VSETT 9 as well as Rion in person, I really preferred the clamp for the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ more. The Rion clamp is very strong, however it only had the Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was equally sturdy as the Rion however, it was equipped with two safety features.
It is available in a black and teal color that I’m sure my wife will love since she is a sucker for anything teal. It also locks itself when folded. Hooks used to secure it into place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook once the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it has dual motors instead of a single motor. It’s available in the same colour of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be most impressed by the 10+, but the 9+ impressed me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking much of it when looking at the specs sheet. But, when I finally got the chance to test ride the 9+ I was blown away by how fast and responsive the motorbike is. I thought the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ behind however, it was capable of keeping up.
I typically prefer high powered scooters but I could definitely see my self having the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight to me , but to some it might be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned to bunny hop 9+, and it’s possible to get a ton of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is an entry level and affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter made to go up to 25 miles per hour as well as get about 25 miles real-world usage. It has an adjustable rear shock as well as a an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two battery models of the eight first. Two versions will be the 15.6 amp-hour version with Chinese batteries and the other version will comprise the one with 21 amps using LG batteries. Vsett Website.
With the electric brake front drum brake, rear drum brake and solid front tire it should aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It has the front and rear swing arm suspension that can be a significant improvement over the smaller spring suspension found in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty similar to it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It is designed to climb bigger hills, have a higher maximum speed and never have flats as compared to that of the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black, and is believed to be a step up from that of the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett Website.
The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that measure 3 inches wide. It comes with a strong clamp that looks similar to similar to the clamp on the RION scooters.
There is an option for sport mode that can only activate for 2 minutes before taking breaks of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature but I think it is a good option to protect the controller from damages from overheating.
I like it that VSETT 10+ locks to itself after folding since the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to transport. The hook used to lock the scooter together doubles as a hanger for the bag you carry or your helmet while you’re in a store.
It has a IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter does have a water resistant rating but none of the distributors guarantee damages caused by water. Its 10+ deck size is larger than the 10X so it will be much larger.
I was able to see a lot of photos and videos marketing the VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the prototype to its final version I discovered that they do not have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping they would have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks because they are more comfortable.
The good news is that the shocks come in a traditional size so that it is easy to buy and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+ in my view, I immediately visualize Captain America. A few people have expressed their displeasure with the colors on the VSETT 11+, however I love the design. I can imagine dressing up in the Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.
Okay, you’ve had enough about costumes, chances are you were looking for specs. The VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that looks as if it came off of motorcyle.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still it is a 60V battery. I do wish they would have made this using the 72V battery however I bet they will release an equivalent 72V model in the near future. It has two stems which is always nice for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It comes with an sport mode similar to the 10+ which only lasts for 2 minutes and shuts off after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.
I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp used in the zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t use the unique clamp, but I’d like to see it on future models. Vsett Website.
