Vsett scooters came and have taken the electric scooter market by storm , introducing some truly innovative moves. Vsett Thumb Throttle. For example the scooters, even though GoTrax has been struggling to equip their scooters with suspension, the cheapest Vsett scooters rocks suspension with two springs.
Alternatively, while Minimotors doesn’t get its scooters IP certified, all of Vsett’s models are IP54 certified which means they are extremely durable as all-year-round scooters. The Vsett 9+ is one such marvel. The intricate craftsmanship is detailed to the letter. If you’re amazed by the curved design of the handlebars or the lightweight of this dual-motorized scooter, there’s plenty to tickle your taste. This 9+ model is quick and can travel long distances, which is a great feature for those interested in the commuter scooter. Vsett Thumb Throttle.
The scooter does not weigh tons like most other dual-motor double suspension, high capacity batteries on performance scooters. Even better, the scooter is equipped with Vsett’s exclusive three-stem locking system, making this scooter portable enough to carry onto public transportation or in the trunk of your vehicle.
VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to their VSETT 8. It has adjustable suspension as well as handles that can be collapsed. Vsett Thumb Throttle. It is larger than the deck, as well as an new clamp, which is similar to the ones that you can find on those Rion scooters.
The clamp I saw on the VSETT 9 as well as Rion on the street, I actually prefer the clamps that was on the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is very strong, however it only had the Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was equally sturdy as the Rion however, it was equipped with two security features.
It’s available in a black and teal shade that I’m certain my wife will like because she is a sucker for anything teal. It also locks in itself when folded. The hook that holds it in place after folding can also double as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it is equipped with two motors instead of just one motor. It’s available in the same shade of the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be most impressed with the 10+, however the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual motorbike with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking much of it when studying the specs sheet. But, when I finally got a chance to ride the 9+ I was completely blown amazed by how swift and smooth the bike is. I was worried that the 10+ would be the first to fly off and leave the 9+ in the dust however, it was able to keep up.
I typically prefer powerful scooters, but I could definitely see my self taking the 9+ as a daily driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me , but to some it could weigh 62 pounds.) I learned to bunny hop the 9+, and it’s possible to get plenty of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 mph as well as get about 25 miles real-world usage. It comes with an adjustable rear shock as well as a the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two batteries variants of this 8 at first. Two versions will be that of 15.6 amp hour version that uses Chinese batteries and the other will be the 21 amp hour version that uses LG batteries. Vsett Thumb Throttle.
With the electric braking, rear drum brake and solid back tire will help to keep maintenance down. It comes with the front and rear swing arm suspension, which could make a difference to the spring suspension that is small in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty similar as it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has dual motors and two solid tires. It was built to go up higher slopes as well as have a greater speeds, and does not have flats as compared to that of the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black, and is supposed to be a step up from it’s predecessor, the ZERO 10X. There are some who refer to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett Thumb Throttle.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes which I prefer over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that measure 3 inches wide. It offers the strong clamp that resembles the one on it’s RION scooters.
There is the sport mode button, which will only be activated for 2 minutes, and then take a 10 minute break. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, however I think it is a good option to protect the controller from damages from overheating.
I like that the VSETT 10+ folds into itself when folded since the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook used to keep the scooter together can also be used to hook into a hook to hang a bag or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.
It is equipped with an IP44 waterproof rating. Although the scooter is equipped with an IP44 rating for water resistance however, none of the distributors will guarantee water damage. The 10+ deck is much larger than the 10X so it will be much larger.
I saw many photos and videos marketing the VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the prototype to its final version I realized that they didn’t come with any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d include the EXA Form 290 shocks as they are more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks are of a standard size which makes it easy to find and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+, I automatically think of Captain America. There are some who have expressed their displeasure with the color of the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I could imagine myself getting dressed in the Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.
Well that’s enough about costumes, you probably were looking for specs. The VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that appears like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is it is a 60V battery. I’d like to have made this using the 72V battery however I’m sure they’ll release an equivalent 72V model in the future. It comes with two stems which is always a nice feature for stability.
The 11+ has 11 inch tires which measure 4 inches in width. It comes with a sport mode like the 10+ that only lasts 2 minutes and shuts off after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT range.
I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are seeing on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we are getting the same clamp used in the zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t use the unique clamp, but I’d like to see it used on future versions. Vsett Thumb Throttle.
