VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to their VSETT 8. It offers adjustable suspension and collapsible handlebars. Vsett Store. It comes with a bigger deck, as well as an new clamp, which is similar to the clamps you find in the Rion scooters.
When I first saw the clamp that was on VSETT 9 as well as Rion personally, I actually prefer the clamps that was on the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. The Rion clamp is strong but it was just a Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was equally sturdy as the Rion however, it was equipped with two extra safety features.
It is available in a black and teal color that I’m sure my wife will like because she is a sucker for everything teal. It also locks itself when folded. The hook that holds it in place when folded can also double as a bag hook once the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 however it comes with dual motors instead of just one motor. It comes in the exact colour of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I was thinking I would be the most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter and I wasn’t thinking much of it when looking at it on a spec sheet. But, when I finally got an opportunity to test drive the 9+ I was blown amazed by how swift and smooth the bike is. I was thinking that the 10+ was going to fly off and leave the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was able to keep up.
I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters but I could definitely see my self taking the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight for me, but to some it might weigh in at 62lbs.) I learned to bunny hop the 9+ and you’re able to get tons of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is an entry-level and cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 mph as well as get about 25 miles real-world usage. It features an adjustable rear shock as well as a the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two battery variants of this 8 initially. The two versions will be the 15.6 amp hour version using Chinese batteries, and the second will be the 21 amp hour version using LG batteries. Vsett Store.
With the electric braking, rear drum brake and the solid rear tire, it will aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It has front and rear swing arm suspension, which could be an improvement to the spring suspension that is small in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty similar as VSETT 8 in a lot of ways. It’s similar to VSETT 8 but it has dual motors and two solid tires. It’s specifically designed to climb higher hills and has a higher maximum speed and does not have flats like the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black, and is believed to be a step above it’s predecessor, the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as a Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett Store.
The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over the Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires that measure three inches in width. It offers the strong clamp that looks like the one on the RION scooters.
It does have the sport mode button, which is only active for two minutes and then take breaks of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature, but I find it to be a good method to avoid controller damages due to overheating.
I love that the VSETT 10+ folds into itself when folded because the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook used to secure the scooter together can also be used to hook into a hook to hang bags or helmets while you’re in a store.
It has a IP44 waterproof resistant rating. Although the scooter is equipped with water-resistant ratings but none of the distributors will warrant damages caused by water. This deck, 10+ is larger than the 10X so it should be very large.
I was able to see a lot of photos and videos marketing VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final prototype I realized that they didn’t come with an EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d come with the EXA Form 290 shocks since they are more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are of a standard size which makes it easy to buy and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Every time I look at the VSETT 11+ in my view, I instantly think of Captain America. There are some who have expressed their disgust for the colors on the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I can imagine dressing up in the Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
Okay, that’s enough about costumes, chances are you were looking for specs. VSETT 11+ VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that appears like it came off of motorcyle.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is a 60V battery. I would like to have created this with an a 72V battery, but I bet they will release an equivalent 72V model in the future. It has dual stems , which is always a nice feature for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11-inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It has a sport mode like the 10+ which only lasts for two minutes, and then shuts down after 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT range.
I would like to see the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are using the same clamp used in the zero 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t utilize the unique clamp, but I’d like to see it in future versions. Vsett Store.
