The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it is equipped with two motors instead of one motor. It is available in the same colour of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I was thinking I would be the most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motorbike with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking much about it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I got a chance to ride it, I was blown away by how fast and responsive the motorbike is. I was thinking that the 10+ would be the first to speed off, leaving the 9+ in the dust however, it was able to keep up.
I usually prefer high powered scooters but I could definitely see my self taking the 9+ as a daily driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight for me, but to some it might weigh in at 62lbs.) I was able to bunny hop the 9+ and you’re able to get tons of air even on flat ground.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter made to go up to 25 mph in a single motor and get about 25 miles of real-world usage. It comes with an adjustable rear shock and the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two batteries versions of the 8 initially. It does come with the sport mode button, which is only active for two minutes before taking a 10 minute break. I have heard people complain about this feature, however I believe it’s a good option to protect the controller from damages due to overheating.
I like that the VSETT 10+ is able to fold in itself once folded due to the fact that the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it hard for portability. The hook used to keep the scooter together doubles into a hook to hang a bag or your helmet when running into a store.
It has a IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Even though the scooter has an IP44 rating for water resistance but no distributor will warranty the damage caused by water. This deck, 10+ is larger than the 10X deck, which means it should be very large.
I saw many videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final model, I found they don’t have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping they would come with EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks as they are more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are of a standard size which makes it easy to buy and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see an image of the VSETT 11+, I immediately think of Captain America. There are some who have expressed their displeasure at the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, but I love the look. I can imagine dressing up in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.
Okay, you’ve had enough about costumes, chances are you came for the specs. VSETT 11+ VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that looks as if it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is an 60V battery. I would like to had come up with an a 72V battery, but I bet they will release a 72V version in the near future. It does offer dual stems , which is always a nice feature for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It has a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it only lasts for 2 minutes , then it shuts off in 10 mins. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT line.
I’d like to see that the 11+ had the same clamp that we are experiencing on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we’re using the same clamp used in the zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t use the unique clamp, but I’d like to see it in future models. Vsett 9 Trottinette.
