Vsett 9+ Review
Vsett scooters came along and took the electric scooter industry to the forefront with some truly innovative decisions. Vsett 9+ Review. For example the fact that GoTrax has had a difficult time equipping their scooters with suspension, the most basic of Vsett scooters has two spring suspension systems.
However, while Minimotors doesn’t get its scooters certified IP however, all Vsett’s models are IP54 certified which means they are extremely reliable as year-round scooters. It’s important to note that every Vsett scooter is equipped complete with an NFC key card immobiliser which shows how serious the company is about its job in the field of smart scooter design.

The 9+ is quick and can cover large distances – a fantastic feature for those looking for an electric scooter for commuters. Vsett 9+ Review.
The scooter isn’t weighing tons, like other dual motor, dual suspension, large battery capacity performance scooters. Even better, the scooter comes with Vsett’s unique three-stem locking system that makes this scooter portable enough to take it on public transportation or in the trunk of your vehicle.
VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8. It offers adjustable suspension and handles that can be collapsed. Vsett 9+ Review. It has a larger deck, and it also comes with an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the clamps you find with Rion scooters. Rion scooters.
When I first saw the clamp that was on VSETT 9, and Rion on the street, I actually prefer the clamps for the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it was just the Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion however, it was equipped with two extra security features.
It comes in a black and teal color that I’m sure my wife will like because she loves anything teal. It also locks in itself when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place after folding can also double as a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it is equipped with two motors instead of just one motor. It comes in the exact colour of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I was thinking I would be the most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much about it when reviewing the specs sheet. However, once I had the chance to test ride it, I was completely blown amazed at how quick and zippy the scooter is. I was worried that the 10+ was going to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind, but surprisingly it was able to keep up.
I normally gravitate towards the high powered scooters but I could definitely see me having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight to me , but to some it might be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned to bunny hop 9+ and was able to get a ton of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 mph in a single motor and get about 25 miles of real-world usage. It has an adjustable rear shock as well as a solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handles and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two batteries versions of the 8 initially. The two variants will include one of the 15.6 amp hour version using Chinese batteries and the other version will be the 21 amp hour version using LG batteries. Vsett 9+ Review.
With its electric brakes with rear drum brake as well as the solid rear tire, it will help to keep maintenance down. It comes with front and rear swing arm suspension which should make a difference to the spring suspension that is small in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty almost identical with VSETT 8 in a lot of ways. It’s similar to VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It was built to go up higher slopes and has a higher maximum speed and does not have flats as compared to the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It is available in black and yellow. black, and is supposed to be a step above the ZERO 10X. There are some who refer to it as a Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 9+ Review.
The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over the Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires that measure three inches in width. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to that of it’s RION scooters.
It does have the sport mode button, which will only be activated for 2 minutes, and then take breaks of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, but I find it to be a good way to prevent controller harm from overheating.
I like that the VSETT 10+ folds into itself when folded due to the fact that the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook that is used to secure the scooter together doubles as a hanger for bags or helmets when running into a store.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof resistant rating. Although the scooter does have an IP44 rating for water resistance, none of the distributors warranty damages caused by water. Its 10+ deck size is much larger than the 10X deck, which means it should be very large.
I saw many videos and photos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final prototype I realized that they don’t have an EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks since they are more comfortable.
The good news is that the shocks are a traditional size which makes it simple to purchase and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Every time I look at an image of the VSETT 11+ I immediately imagine Captain America. A few people have expressed their displeasure at the color of the VSETT 11+, however I love the look. I imagine getting dressed up in the Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.
So, enough about costumes, you probably are here for the specifications. The VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that appears like it came from a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still it is a 60V battery. I’d like to have created this with an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch a 72V version in the near future. It has dual stems which is always a nice feature to ensure stability.
The 11+ comes with 11-inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It has an sport mode similar to the 10+ that only lasts for 2 minutes , then it shuts off in 10 mins. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT line.
I wish the 11+ came with the new clamp that we’re seeing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp used in the zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t choose to use the new clamp, however I’d love to see it on future models. Vsett 9+ Review.
