VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features

vsett 9

The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter than their VSETT 8. It offers adjustable suspension and the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett 9+ Problems. It has a larger deck, as well as an upgraded clamp that is similar to the clamps you find in Rion scooters. Rion scooters.

When I first saw the clamp that was on VSETT 9 as well as Rion in person, I preferred the clamp on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it just had a Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion however, it was equipped with two extra security features.

It comes in a teal and black color which I’m sure my wife will love since she’s a fan of all things teal. It also locks its own when folded. Hooks used to secure it into place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.

VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it is equipped with two motors instead of a single motor. It comes in the exact colour of the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be the most impressed by the 10+. However, the 9+ surprised me the most.

It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts, so I didn’t think much of it when looking at it on a specification sheet. But, when I finally got an opportunity to test drive it, I was blown amazed at how quick and responsive the motorbike is. I was thinking that the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust but it turned out to be capable of keeping up.

I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters but I could see my self using the 9+ for a regular driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight for me, but to some it might be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned to bunny hop the 9+ and was able to get plenty of air even on flat ground.

VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features

Vsett 9+ Problems

VSETT 8 VSETT 8 is the entry-level, cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 mph and get about 25 miles of real usage range. It has an adjustable rear shock and an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.

The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two batteries models of the eight at first. The two variants will include one of the 15.6 amp hour model using Chinese batteries, and the second will be the 21 amp hour version with LG batteries. Vsett 9+ Problems.

With the electric braking, rear drum brake and a solid back tire will assist in keeping maintenance low. It has front and rear swing arm suspension which should be a significant improvement over the smaller spring suspension found included in the ZERO 8

VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

The VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical with it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has dual motors and two solid tires. It was designed to climb bigger hills and has a higher top speed, and never have flats as compared to the VSETT 8.

VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

Vsett 9+ Problems

The VSETT 10+ is a twin 1400 w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black and is said to be an upgrade from that of the ZERO 10X. There are some who refer to it looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 9+ Problems.

The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes which I prefer over Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that are just 3 inches long. It comes with a strong clamp that looks similar to that of the RION scooters.

There is a sport mode button that will only be activated for 2 minutes, and then take breaks of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature, however I believe it’s an good option to protect the controller from damage due to overheating.

I am awestruck by the fact I love the fact that VSETT 10+ locks to itself after folding since the ZERO 10X isn’t making it hard for portability. The hook that is used to lock the scooter together also doubles into a hook to hang a bag or your helmet while you’re in a store.

It is equipped with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter is equipped with an IP44 rating for water resistance, no distributor will warranty the damage caused by water. This deck, 10+ is larger than the 10X, so it will be much larger.

I saw a ton of photos and videos marketing VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final model I discovered that they didn’t come with an EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d come with the EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.

The good news is that the shocks are a traditional size which makes it simple to purchase and install a replacement.

VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

vsett 11

Every time I look at VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+ in my view, I immediately visualize Captain America. There are some who have expressed their disgust for the color of the VSETT 11+, but I love the look. I can imagine dressing up in the Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.

Okay, you’ve had enough about costumes, you probably are here for the specifications. It’s the VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks like it was ripped off of a motorbike.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is a 60V battery. I’d like to have made this using an a 72V battery, but I’m sure they’ll release another 72V version in the near future. It does offer dual stems which is always nice to ensure stability.

The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires which measure 4 inches in width. It also has a sport mode , similar to the 10+ that only lasts for two minutes, and then shuts down after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT line.

I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the same clamp that we are using in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp used in the zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t choose to use the innovative clamp however I’d love to see it on future models. Vsett 9+ Problems.
