When I first saw the clamp on the VSETT 9 and Rion in person, I really prefer the clamps that was on the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it was just a Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was just as strong as the Rion however, it was equipped with two security features.
It’s available in a black and teal shade that I’m certain my wife will like because she’s a fan of anything teal. It also locks into it when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place after folding, doubles up to become a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.

The VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking much of it when reviewing the specs sheet. But, when I finally got the chance to test ride the 9+ I was blown amazed at how quick and zippy the scooter is. I thought the 10+ was about to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was able to keep up.
I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters but I could definitely see my self using the 9+ as a daily driver. It was quick and light. The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It also has a sport mode , similar to the 10+ which only lasts for 2 minutes , then it shuts off after 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT line.
I’d like to see that the 11+ had the same clamp that we are seeing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re seeing the same type of clamp used in the zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t utilize the new clamp, however I’d love to see it used on future renditions. Vsett 9+ Ip Rating.
