When I saw clamp in the VSETT 9 as well as Rion on the street, I liked the clamp for the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is strong but it was just a Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was as strong as the Rion however it came with two extra safety features.

The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 however it is equipped with two motors instead of a single motor. It’s available in the same colour of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be the most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ is what impressed me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motorbike with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking about it while reviewing the specs sheet. However, once I had a chance to ride the 9+ I was blown amazed at how quick and responsive the motorbike is. I was worried that the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping up.
I usually prefer high powered scooters but I could definitely see me using the 9+ as a daily driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me but to some it might weigh in at 62lbs.) I was able to bunny hop on the 9+ and was able to get a ton of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is the entry-level, affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter made to go up to 25 miles per hour and get about 25 miles of real usage range. It comes with an adjustable rear shock as well as a an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two battery variants of this 8 first. The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that are three inches in width. It offers the strong clamp that looks like the one on the RION scooters.
It does have an option for sport mode that will only be activated for 2 minutes before taking an interval of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature but I think it is a good way to prevent controller damages due to overheating.
I like that the VSETT 10+ is able to fold into itself when folded, because the ZERO 10X isn’t making it hard for portability. The hook used to secure the scooter together also doubles into a hook to hang a bag or your helmet when running into a store.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof rating. Even though the scooter has an IP44 rating for water resistance but no distributor will warranty the damage caused by water. This deck, 10+ is bigger than the 10X deck, which means it is expected to be very big.
I was able to see a lot of videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final model I discovered that they don’t have an EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d include the EXA Form 290 shocks since they’re more comfortable.
The good news is that the shocks are a traditional size which makes it easy to find and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see an image of the VSETT 11+ I immediately visualize Captain America. A few people have expressed their disgust for the colors on the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I can imagine dressing up in an Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
Okay, you’ve had enough about costumes, you probably were looking for specs. It’s the VSETT 11+ is the most popular scooter in the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks as if it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is a 60V battery. I would like to had come up with the 72V battery however I’m betting they’ll launch another 72V version in the future. It comes with dual stems , which can be very helpful for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires which have a width of 4 inches. It has a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it is only for 2 minutes , then it shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT range.
I would like to see the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are seeing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are using the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. Not sure why they didn’t choose to use the new clamp, however I’d love to see it on future renditions. Vsett 9+ Forum.
