VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter than VSETT 8. VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and handles that can be collapsed. Vsett 8r. It comes with a bigger deck and also has the upgraded clamp that is similar to the ones that you can find in Rion scooters. Rion scooters.
When I first saw the clamp in the VSETT 9, and Rion on the street, I preferred the clamp on the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it only had a Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was just as sturdy as the Rion however, it was equipped with two additional safety features.
It is available in a teal and black color that I’m sure my wife would love because she is a sucker for anything teal. It also locks its own when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place after folding is also used as a bag hook once the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 however it is equipped with two motors instead of just one motor. It’s available in the same colour of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I was thinking I would be most impressed with the 10+. However, the 9+ impressed me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motorbike with 650 watts, so I didn’t think much of it when studying it on a spec sheet. However, once I got a chance to ride the 9+ I was completely blown away by how fast and zippy the scooter is. I thought the 10+ was about to fly off and leave the 9+ behind however, it was capable of keeping up.
I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters but I could see my self having the 9+ as a daily driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight to me , but to some it could be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned to bunny hop the 9+ and you’re able to get tons of air even on flat ground.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is an entry-level, budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 mph and get about 25 miles of actual usage. It features an adjustable rear shock and solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handles and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two battery variants of this 8 first. Two variants will include one of the 15.6 amp hour model using Chinese batteries, and the second version will be the 21 amp hour version that uses LG batteries. Vsett 8r.
With its electric brakes front drum brake, rear drum brake and a solid front tire it should aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It comes with both rear and front swing arm suspension which should make a difference to the small spring suspension included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8+ is pretty similar with it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It’s specifically designed to climb higher hills and has a higher maximum speed and will never have flats compared to the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400w motor beast. It is available in black and yellow. black, and is believed to be an upgrade from that of the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as a Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 8r.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that are three inches in width. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to similar to the clamp on it’s RION scooters.
There is the sport mode button, which can only activate for 2 minutes and then take an interval of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature but I think it is an good way to prevent controller damage due to overheating.
I love that the VSETT 10+ is able to fold in itself once folded since the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook that is used to lock the scooter together also doubles up as a hook for bags or helmets in the event of a trip to a shop.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter is equipped with a water resistant rating but none of the distributors warranty damages caused by water. This deck, 10+ is much larger than the 10X so it is expected to be very big.
I was able to see a lot of images and videos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final prototype I discovered that they didn’t come with an EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping they would have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks because they’re more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are of a standard size so that it is simple to purchase and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+ in my view, I immediately imagine Captain America. There are some who have expressed their disgust for the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I can imagine dressing up in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
Okay, you’ve had enough about costumes, you probably were looking for specs. VSETT 11+ VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that looks like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is it is a 60V battery. I’d like to have created this with an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch an equivalent 72V model in the near future. It does offer two stems which is always a nice feature to ensure stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that have a width of 4 inches. It has a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it only lasts for two minutes, and then shuts down in 10 mins. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT range.
I’d like to see that the 11+ had the same clamp that we are experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re seeing the same type of clamp used in the zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t use the innovative clamp but I’d like to see it used on future versions. Vsett 8r.
