In contrast, even though Minimotors is unable to get its scooters IP certified, all of Vsett’s models are IP54 certified which makes them extremely reliable as year-round scooters. The 9+ is quick and can travel long distances- excellent qualities for those looking for the commuter scooter. Vsett 8 Vs Vsett 9.
The scooter isn’t weighing tons, like other dual motor double suspension, high capacity battery-powered performance scooters. Additionally, it comes with Vsett’s unique Triple Stem Locking Mechanism, making this scooter portable enough to carry onto public transportation or in the trunk of your car.
VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly bigger single motor scooter than VSETT 8. VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett 8 Vs Vsett 9. It comes with a bigger deck, as well as an new clamp, which is similar to the ones you see with those Rion scooters.
The clamp I saw in the VSETT 9 and Rion personally, I actually liked the clamp that was on the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it only had the Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was as strong as the Rion however it came with two extra safety features.
It’s available in a teal and black color that I’m sure my wife will love since she loves anything teal. It also locks its own when folded. The hook used to lock it into place when folded is also used as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 however it is equipped with two motors instead of one motor. It is available in the same colour of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I thought I was going to be most impressed with the 10+. However, the 9+ I was most surprised by.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual motorbike with 650 watts which is why I didn’t think much about it when studying it on a spec sheet. However, once I got an opportunity to test drive it, I was completely blown amazed at how quick and zippy the scooter is. I was thinking that the 10+ would be the first to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind but it turned out to be able to keep up.
I typically prefer super-powered scooters but I could see myself having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight for me, but to some it could be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned to bunny hop on the 9+, and it’s possible to get a ton of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 is an entry-level, cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 miles per hour and get about 25 miles real usage range. It features an adjustable rear shock and the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two battery models of the eight initially. Two models will have that of 15.6 amp-hour version that uses Chinese batteries and the other will include the version with 21 amps that uses LG batteries. Vsett 8 Vs Vsett 9.
With the electric brake, rear drum brake and solid rear tire, it should assist in keeping maintenance low. It comes with front and rear swing arm suspension that can make a difference to the spring suspension that is small included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical to the VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It is built to go up higher slopes, have a higher maximum speed and does not have flats like the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black and is said to be a step up from it’s predecessor, the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 8 Vs Vsett 9.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that are three inches in width. It offers the strong clamp that resembles the one on it’s RION scooters.
There is the sport mode button, which will only be activated for 2 minutes before taking breaks of 10 minutes. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature but I find it to be an good method to avoid controller damage by overheating.
I love I love the fact that VSETT 10+ is able to fold to itself after folding since the ZERO 10X isn’t making it difficult to move. The hook that is used to lock the scooter together can also be used to hook as a hanger for a bag or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.
It has a IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter is equipped with an IP44 rating for water resistance however, none of the distributors will guarantee the damage caused by water. Its 10+ deck size is bigger than the 10X so it will be much larger.
I saw a ton of videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the prototype to its final version, I found they didn’t come with any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d have the EXA Form 290 shocks because they are more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are of a standard size, making it easy to buy and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Every time I look at an image of the VSETT 11+, I instantly think of Captain America. Some people have voiced their displeasure with the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I imagine getting dressed up in the Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
Well enough about costumes, you likely were looking for specs. The VSETT 11+ is the most popular scooter in the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that appears like it came off of motorcyle.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still it is a 60V battery. I’d like to had come up with an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch another 72V version in the near future. It comes with dual stems , which is always nice to ensure stability.
The 11+ has 11 inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It comes with a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it only lasts for 2 minutes , then it shuts off after 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT line.
I would like to see the 11+ had the new clamp that we’re seeing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re seeing the same type of clamp used in the ZERO 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t choose to use the innovative clamp but I would love to see it used on future renditions. Vsett 8 Vs Vsett 9.
