It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motorbike with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking much of it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I had an opportunity to test drive the 9+, I was completely blown amazed by how swift and smooth the bike is. I thought the 10+ was going to speed off, leaving the 9+ in the dust but it turned out to be capable of keeping up.
I normally gravitate towards the powerful scooters, but I could definitely see myself having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight to me but to some it would weigh 62 pounds.) I was able to bunny hop the 9+ and was able to get a ton of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is an entry level and affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 miles per hour in a single motor and get about 25 miles actual usage. It features an adjustable rear shock and solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two batteries models of the eight initially. There is a sport mode button that is only active for two minutes, and then take a 10 minute break. There have been complaints about this feature, however I find it to be a good option to protect the controller from damage due to overheating.
I am awestruck by the fact it that VSETT 10+ is able to fold to itself after folding because the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it hard for portability. The hook used to keep the scooter together doubles into a hook to hang bags or helmets when running into a store.
It has a IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter does have water-resistant ratings, none of the distributors warranty water damage. The 10+ deck is bigger than the 10X deck, which means it should be very large.
I saw many videos and photos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final prototype I discovered that they do not have an EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d have the EXA Form 290 shocks since they are more comfortable.
The good news is that the shocks are of a standard size which makes it simple to purchase and set up a replacement.
