Vsett 8 Review
Vsett scooters came along and revolutionized the electric scooter industry by storm with some highly unprecedented moves. Vsett 8 Review. For example the scooters, even though GoTrax has been struggling to equip their scooters with suspension, the cheapest Vsett scooters rocks two spring suspension systems.
However, while Minimotors does not get its scooters IP-certified, all of Vsett’s models are rated IP54 which means they are extremely reliable as year-round scooters. Don’t forget that every Vsett scooter comes with the NFC keys card immobiliser which indicates how serious the company is about its work in terms of intelligent scooter design.

The scooters will be constantly evaluated against other models of similar brands. But the battle for Vsett is intensely internal, with each release leaving the market amazed than with the previous.

The Vsett 9+ is one such marvel. The fine craftsmanship is described to the letter. Whether you’re impressed by the curvature design of handlebars, or the low weight of this dual motor scooter, there’s plenty to entice your taste. The 9+ is quick and can cover long distances- excellent qualities for those interested in an electric scooter for commuters. Vsett 8 Review.
The scooter isn’t weighing tons, like other dual motor double suspension, high battery capacity performance scooters. Plus, the scooter comes equipped with Vsett’s proprietary triple stem locking mechanism that makes the scooter a good choice to take it on public transportation or in the trunk of your car.
VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter than their VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and collapsible handlebars. Vsett 8 Review. It is larger than the deck, as well as an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the ones you see in the Rion scooters.
When I saw clamp that was on VSETT 9 and Rion personally, I really liked the clamp that was on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it only had the Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion however, it was equipped with two additional safety features.
It’s available in a black and teal shade that I’m certain my wife would love because she is a sucker for everything teal. It also locks its own when folded. Hooks used to secure it into place when folded, doubles up to become a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it has dual motors instead of a single motor. It comes in the exact colour of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I thought I would be the most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much about it when studying it on a specification sheet. However, once I got an opportunity to test drive it, I was blown amazed by how swift and zippy the scooter is. I thought the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust but it turned out to be capable of keeping pace.
I usually prefer super-powered scooters but I could see myself using the 9+ as a daily driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight to me but to some it would be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned how to bunny hop the 9+ and was able to get tons of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 mph as well as get about 25 miles actual usage. It comes with an adjustable rear shock and an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two battery versions of the 8 first. The two versions will be that of 15.6 amp hour model that uses Chinese batteries, and the second will be the 21 amp hour version that uses LG batteries. Vsett 8 Review.
With the electric braking front drum brake, rear drum brake and the solid back tire should assist in keeping maintenance low. It offers the front and rear swing arm suspension, which could be an improvement to the small spring suspension included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8+ is pretty almost identical as the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It’s specifically designed to climb higher hills as well as have a greater top speed, and does not have flats as compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400 w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black, and is supposed to be an upgrade from that of the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 8 Review.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires that measure 3 inches wide. It comes with a strong clamp that looks similar to that of it’s RION scooters.
It does have an option for sport mode that is only active for two minutes, and then take a 10 minute break. I have heard people complain about this feature but I think it is a good option to protect the controller from damage by overheating.
I am awestruck by the fact that the VSETT 10+ is able to fold to itself after folding, since the ZERO 10X isn’t making it hard for portability. The hook that is used to keep the scooter together doubles into a hook to hang the bag you carry or your helmet while you’re in a store.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof rating. Although the scooter does have a water resistant rating but no distributor will guarantee water damage. The 10+ deck is much larger than the 10X so it should be very large.
I saw many videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final prototype I discovered that they didn’t come with the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d have the EXA Form 290 shocks since they are more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks come in a traditional size so that it is simple to purchase and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see the VSETT 11+ in my view, I instantly visualize Captain America. A few people have expressed their displeasure with the color of the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I imagine getting dressed up in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.
So, enough about costumes, you probably came for the specs. The VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still it is a 60V battery. I’d like to had come up with a 72V battery but I’m betting they’ll launch a 72V version in the future. It comes with dual stems , which is always nice for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11-inch tires that have a width of 4 inches. It comes with a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it only lasts for 2 minutes and shuts off in 10 mins. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT line.
I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the new clamp that we’re seeing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re getting the same clamp used in the zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t utilize the new clamp, however I’d love to see it used on future renditions. Vsett 8 Review.
