The VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8. It has adjustable suspension as well as the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett 8 Review. It has a larger deck, as well as an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the clamps you find on those Rion scooters.

When I saw clamp that was on VSETT 9, and Rion in person, I really preferred the clamp that was on the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it just had an Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was equally strong as the Rion however it came with two security features.

It is available in a black and teal shade that I’m certain my wife would love because she is a sucker for anything teal. It also locks in its own when folded. The hook that holds it into place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook once the scooter is unfolded.

VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it is equipped with two motors instead of just one motor. It is available in the same shade of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I thought I would be most impressed with the 10+, but the 9+ is what impressed me the most.

The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much of it when reviewing it on a specification sheet. However, once I had the chance to test ride the 9+, I was completely blown amazed at how quick and smooth the bike is. I thought the 10+ was about to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping pace.

I usually prefer high powered scooters but I could definitely see me using the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me , but to some it could weigh in at 62lbs.) I learned how to bunny hop the 9+ and you’re able to get a ton of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.

VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features

Vsett 8 Review

The VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 miles per hour in a single motor and get about 25 miles of real usage range. It comes with an adjustable rear shock and the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.

The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two battery versions of the 8 first. The two versions will be that of 15.6 amp-hour version using Chinese batteries and the other version will be the 21 amp hour version using LG batteries. Vsett 8 Review.

It does come with an option for sport mode that is only active for two minutes and then take a 10 minute break. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, however I find it to be a good way to prevent controller damage by overheating.

I am awestruck by the fact it that VSETT 10+ locks to itself after folding because the ZERO 10X isn’t making it difficult to transport. The hook that is used to secure the scooter together doubles up as a hook for a bag or your helmet while you’re in a store.

It has a IP44 waterproof rating. Although the scooter is equipped with an IP44 rating for water resistance, none of the distributors will warranty damages caused by water. This deck, 10+ is larger than the 10X, so it should be very large.

I was able to see a lot of images and videos promoting the VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final prototype I discovered that they don’t have an EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d include one of the EXA Form 290 shocks because they’re more comfortable.

The good thing is that the shocks come in a traditional size so that it is easy to buy and set up a replacement.

The 11+ comes with 11-inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It comes with a sport mode like the 10+, but it is only for 2 minutes and shuts off after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT line.

I wish the 11+ had the same clamp that we are seeing on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we are getting the same clamp used in the zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t utilize the innovative clamp but I would love to see it used on future versions. Vsett 8 Review.
