The clamp I saw that was on VSETT 9 and Rion in person, I really preferred the clamp that was on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ more. The Rion clamp is strong but it was just the Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was equally strong as the Rion but it had two extra security features.
It’s available in a black and teal shade that I’m certain my wife will like because she’s a fan of all things teal. It also locks into it when folded. Hooks used to secure it into place when folded can also double as a bag hook once the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it comes with dual motors instead of just one motor. It comes in the exact shade of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I thought I would be most impressed by the 10+, but the 9+ surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts which is why I didn’t think about it while reviewing the specs sheet. But, when I finally got a chance to ride the 9+ I was completely blown away by how fast and responsive the motorbike is. I thought the 10+ was going to fly off and leave the 9+ behind, but surprisingly it was able to keep up.
I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters but I could see my self taking the 9+ for a regular driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight for me, but to some it could be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned how to bunny hop on the 9+, and it’s possible to get plenty of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 can be described as the entry level and cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 mph and get about 25 miles of real-world usage. It comes with an adjustable rear shock as well as a solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two batteries versions of the 8 at first. The VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical as the VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It’s built to go up higher slopes and has a higher speeds, and will never have flats like that of the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400 w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black, and is supposed to be a step up from it’s predecessor, the ZERO 10X. There are some who refer to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 8 Olx.
The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes which I prefer over Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that measure 3 inches wide. It offers the strong clamp that resembles the one on the RION scooters.
It does have the sport mode button, which is only active for two minutes before taking a 10 minute break. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature but I believe it’s a good method to avoid controller damages by overheating.
I am awestruck by the fact it that VSETT 10+ folds to itself after folding, since the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to move. The hook used to secure the scooter together also doubles as a hanger for the bag you carry or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Even though the scooter has water-resistant ratings, no distributor will warrant damages caused by water. This deck, 10+ is larger than the 10X so it will be much larger.
I saw a ton of videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final prototype I realized that they didn’t come with any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d come with the EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks are of a standard size which makes it easy to find and install a new.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+ I automatically think of Captain America. A few people have expressed their disgust for the colors on the VSETT 11+, but I love the design. I could imagine myself getting dressed in a Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.
Okay, you’ve had enough about costumes, you likely are here for the specifications. The VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that appears like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is it is a 60V battery. I would like to had come up with an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch a 72V version in the near future. It does offer dual stems which can be very helpful to ensure stability.
The 11+ has 11-inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It has a sport mode , similar to the 10+ which only lasts for two minutes, and then shuts down after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT line.
I would like to see the 11+ had the new clamp that we’re using for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are using the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. Not sure why they didn’t utilize the unique clamp, but I would love to see it on future models. Vsett 8 Olx.
