When I first saw the clamp that was on VSETT 9 as well as Rion in person, I really preferred the clamp for the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is strong but it only had an Velcro strap that was used to secure it. It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much about it when looking at it on a specification sheet. However, once I got the chance to test ride the 9+ I was completely blown amazed by how swift and zippy the scooter is. I was worried that the 10+ would be the first to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping pace.
I usually prefer super-powered scooters but I could see myself using the 9+ as a daily driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight for me, but to some it would be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned to bunny hop 9+ and you’re able to get plenty of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is the entry level and cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter made to go up to 25 mph in a single motor and get about 25 miles of real usage range. It comes with an adjustable rear shock and the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two batteries variants of this 8 first. The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes which I prefer over Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires that are 3 inches wide. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to the one on RION scooters. RION scooters.
There is the sport mode button, which can only activate for 2 minutes before taking a 10 minute break. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, but I think it is a good way to prevent controller damages by overheating.
I like it that VSETT 10+ locks into itself when folded, due to the fact that the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to move. The hook used to secure the scooter together doubles as a hanger for a bag or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.
It has a IP44 waterproof rating. Even though the scooter has an IP44 rating for water resistance but none of the distributors will guarantee water damage. Its 10+ deck size is much larger than the 10X, so it is expected to be very big.
I saw a ton of videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. Unfortunately after riding the final prototype, I found they do not have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks because they are more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks come in a traditional size so that it is easy to buy and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see an image of the VSETT 11+, I instantly visualize Captain America. Some people have voiced their displeasure with the color of the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I can imagine dressing up in the Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is a 60V battery. I’d like to have created this with the 72V battery however I bet they will release another 72V version in the future. It does offer dual stems , which is always nice for stability.
The 11+ has 11-inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It has a sport mode like the 10+, but it is only for two minutes, and then shuts down after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.
I would like to see the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are seeing on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t choose to use the innovative clamp but I’d like to see it in future renditions. Vsett 8 Hind.
