When I first saw the clamp in the VSETT 9 and Rion in person, I really liked the clamp that was on the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ more. The Rion clamp is strong but it was just a Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was as sturdy as the Rion however it came with two extra safety features.

It’s available in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife would love because she loves all things teal. It also locks in its own when folded. The hook used to lock it into place when folded can also double to become a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.

VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features

The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it is equipped with two motors instead of a single motor. It’s available in the same shade of the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be most impressed with the 10+, however the 9+ I was most surprised by.

It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much of it when reviewing the specs sheet. However, once I got the chance to test ride the 9+, I was blown away by how fast and responsive the motorbike is. I was worried that the 10+ would be the first to speed off, leaving the 9+ in the dust but it turned out to be able to keep up.

I usually prefer high powered scooters but I could see my self having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight for me, but to some it would weigh 62 pounds.) I learned to bunny hop on the 9+ and you’re able to get a ton of fresh air on almost any flat surface.

I am awestruck by the fact it that VSETT 10+ is able to fold in itself once folded, because the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to move. The hook used to secure the scooter together also doubles into a hook to hang the bag you carry or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.

The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It comes with a sport mode , similar to the 10+ that only lasts 2 minutes , then it shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT range.

I would like to see the 11+ came with the same clamp that we are seeing on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we’re using the same clamp used in the zero 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t choose to use the unique clamp, however I’d love to see it on future versions. Vsett 8 Experiment.
