It is larger than the deck and also has the new clamp, which is similar to the ones you see with Rion scooters. Rion scooters.
When I saw clamp in the VSETT 9 and Rion on the street, I preferred the clamp that was on the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it was just a Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was just as strong as the Rion however, it was equipped with two safety features.
It comes in a teal and black shade that I’m certain my wife will love since she loves anything teal. It also locks in its own when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place after folding can also double as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very like the 9 except that it has dual motors instead of a single motor. It’s available in the same color as the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I thought I would be most impressed by the 10+, but the 9+ impressed me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts which is why I didn’t think about it while studying it on a specification sheet. However, once I had a chance to ride the 9+ I was completely blown amazed at how quick and smooth the bike is. I thought the 10+ was going to speed off, leaving the 9+ behind however, it was capable of keeping up.
I usually prefer super-powered scooters but I could definitely see me having the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me but to some it might weigh 62 pounds.) I learned how to bunny hop on the 9+, and it’s possible to get a ton of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter made to go up to 25 mph as well as get about 25 miles of actual usage. It features an adjustable rear shock as well as a an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two battery variants of this 8 initially. With the electric braking, rear drum brake and the solid rear tire, it can help to keep maintenance down. It comes with the front and rear swing arm suspension that can be a significant improvement over the smaller spring suspension found included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8+ is pretty similar to it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It was specifically designed to climb higher hills as well as have a greater speeds, and does not have flats as compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black and is said to be an upgrade from that of the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 8 Charging Time.
The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires, which are 3 inches wide. It has a sturdy clamp that resembles that of it’s RION scooters.
It does come with an option for sport mode that will only be activated for 2 minutes and then take an interval of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, but I find it to be an good option to protect the controller from harm from overheating.
I am awestruck by the fact it that VSETT 10+ is able to fold into itself when folded because the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it hard for portability. The hook used to keep the scooter together also doubles up as a hook for the bag you carry or your helmet when running into a store.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof rating. Even though the scooter has a water resistant rating but none of the distributors warrant the damage caused by water. Its 10+ deck size is larger than the 10X so it is expected to be very big.
I was able to see a lot of videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final prototype I discovered that they don’t have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d come with the EXA Form 290 shocks as they are more comfortable.
The good news is that the shocks are of a standard size so that it is simple to purchase and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see VSETT 11+, or any other VSETT 11+ I immediately imagine Captain America. A few people have expressed their disgust for the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I can imagine dressing up in an Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
Okay, enough about costumes, you probably came for the specs. The VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that appears like it came off of motorcyle.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is it is a 60V battery. I do wish they would have created this with the 72V battery however I’m betting they’ll launch a 72V version in the near future. It has two stems which is always nice for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It also has a sport mode like the 10+ that only lasts two minutes, and then shuts down after 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT line.
I wish the 11+ came with the new clamp that we’re experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we’re using the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. Not sure why they didn’t choose to use the innovative clamp but I would love to see it used on future versions. Vsett 8 Charging Time.
