When I saw clamp on the VSETT 9 and Rion in person, I actually prefer the clamps on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is strong but it just had an Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was as sturdy as the Rion but it had two security features.
It’s available in a teal and black color that I’m sure my wife would love because she is a sucker for anything teal. It also locks it when folded. The hook that holds it in place after folding, doubles up as a bag hook once the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 however it comes with dual motors instead of a single motor. It comes in the exact colour of the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I was thinking I would be the most impressed by the 10+. However, the 9+ impressed me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking about it while studying the specs sheet. However, once I had the chance to test ride the 9+ I was blown amazed at how quick and zippy the scooter is. I was worried that the 10+ was going to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust but it turned out to be able to keep up.
I usually prefer super-powered scooters however I could easily see myself taking the 9+ as a daily driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight for me, but to some it might be heavy at 62 lbs) I was able to bunny hop 9+ and you’re able to get a ton of air even on flat ground.

The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires, which are three inches in width. It has a sturdy clamp that resembles that of the RION scooters.
It does have the sport mode button, which is only active for two minutes before taking breaks of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature but I believe it’s an good method to avoid controller harm by overheating.
I love it that VSETT 10+ locks into itself when folded, since the ZERO 10X does not making it hard for portability. The hook that is used to keep the scooter together also doubles into a hook to hang bags or helmets when running into a store.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof rating. Although the scooter does have an IP44 rating for water resistance however, none of the distributors warrant the damage caused by water. This deck, 10+ is larger than the 10X, so it is expected to be very big.
I was able to see a lot of videos and photos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final prototype I discovered that they don’t have the EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is it is a 60V battery. I do wish they would had come up with an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch a 72V version in the near future. It comes with dual stems which is always nice for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It also has a sport mode , similar to the 10+ which is only for 2 minutes and shuts off after 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT line.
I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are using on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we’re using the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. Not sure why they didn’t use the unique clamp, but I’d like to see it used on future models. Vsett 11+ Specs.
