VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter than their VSETT 8. It has adjustable suspension as well as the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett 10x. It comes with a bigger deck, as well as an new clamp, which is similar to the clamps you find with the Rion scooters.
When I first saw the clamp in the VSETT 9 and Rion personally, I actually prefer the clamps for the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is very strong, however it just had an Velcro strap to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was as sturdy as the Rion however it came with two extra safety features.
It is available in a teal and black shade that I’m certain my wife would love because she’s a fan of everything teal. It also locks itself when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place after folding is also used to become a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it has dual motors instead of just one motor. It’s available in the same shade of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ impressed me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motorbike with 650 watts and I wasn’t thinking much about it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I had a chance to ride the 9+ I was blown away by how fast and zippy the scooter is. I was worried that the 10+ would be the first to speed off, leaving the 9+ in the dust however, it was capable of keeping pace.
I typically prefer super-powered scooters but I could definitely see me having the 9+ as a daily driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight to me , but to some it could be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned how to bunny hop the 9+ and was able to get plenty of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 is the entry level and budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It is a single motor commuter that can go up to 25 mph and get about 25 miles real usage range. It has an adjustable rear shock as well as a an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two battery versions of the 8 at first. The two variants will include one of the 15.6 amp-hour version that uses Chinese batteries. The other will include the version with 21 amps with LG batteries. Vsett 10x.
With the electric braking front drum brake, rear drum brake and the solid back tire should help to keep maintenance down. It has both rear and front swing arm suspension, which could be a significant improvement over the spring suspension that is small in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8+ is pretty similar as the VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It’s specifically designed to climb higher hills, have a higher top speed, and does not have flats compared to the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400w motor beast. It is available in yellow and black, and is believed to be an upgrade from that of the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 10x.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over Zoom brakes. It has 10 inch tires, which are 3 inches wide. It comes with a strong clamp that resembles similar to the clamp on it’s RION scooters.
There is an option for sport mode that can only activate for 2 minutes and then take breaks of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature, but I believe it’s a good method to avoid controller damages by overheating.
I like it that VSETT 10+ is able to fold to itself after folding, because the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to move. The hook that is used to secure the scooter together also doubles up as a hook for bags or helmets in the event of a trip to a shop.
It has a IP44 waterproof resistant rating. Although the scooter is equipped with an IP44 rating for water resistance but no distributor will warrant the damage caused by water. The 10+ deck is bigger than the 10X, so it is expected to be very big.
I saw a ton of photos and videos marketing VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final prototype I discovered that they do not have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d have EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks are of a standard size so that it is simple to purchase and install a new.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Every time I look at an image of the VSETT 11+ in my view, I immediately think of Captain America. A few people have expressed their displeasure at the colors on the VSETT 11+, but I love the look. I could imagine myself getting dressed in a Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
Well that’s enough about costumes, you likely are here for the specifications. The VSETT 11+ is the flagship scooter to the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors yet it is a 60V battery. I do wish they would have created this with the 72V battery however I’m betting they’ll launch an equivalent 72V model in the near future. It has dual stems which can be very helpful for stability.
The 11+ has 11-inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It also has an sport mode similar to the 10+ that is only for two minutes, and then shuts down for 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT line.
I would like to see the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are seeing in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we are getting the same clamp used in the zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t utilize the innovative clamp however I’d love to see it on future renditions. Vsett 10x.
