When I first saw the clamp on the VSETT 9 as well as Rion on the street, I actually liked the clamp that was on the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is strong but it was just the Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp used on VSETT scooters was as sturdy as the Rion however it came with two additional safety features.
It comes in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will like because she’s a fan of anything teal. It also locks into itself when folded. Hooks used to secure it into place when folded, doubles up as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.

The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it is equipped with two motors instead of one motor. It’s available in the same shade of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I was thinking I would be the most impressed by the 10+. However, the 9+ impressed me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter and I wasn’t thinking about it while reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I got an opportunity to test drive the 9+ I was blown away by how fast and smooth the bike is. I thought the 10+ was about to take off leaving the 9+ behind but it turned out to be capable of keeping up.
I normally gravitate towards the powerful scooters, but I could see myself using the 9+ for a regular driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight for me, but to some it might weigh 62 pounds.) I learned how to bunny hop the 9+, and it’s possible to get tons of air even on flat ground.

The VSETT 8 can be described as the entry level and affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter made to go up to 25 miles per hour in a single motor and get about 25 miles of real usage range. It has an adjustable rear shock and an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.

VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty similar to it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has dual motors and two solid tires. It was specifically designed to climb higher hills as well as have a greater top speed, and will never have flats as compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8.

The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires that measure just 3 inches long. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to similar to the clamp on RION scooters. RION scooters.
It does have a sport mode button that can only activate for 2 minutes before taking an interval of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature, however I find it to be a good method to avoid controller damages due to overheating.
I am awestruck by the fact I love the fact that VSETT 10+ locks into itself when folded because the ZERO 10X isn’t making it hard for portability. The hook used to lock the scooter together doubles as a hanger for the bag you carry or your helmet when running into a store.
It is equipped with an IP44 waterproof resistance rating. Although the scooter is equipped with water-resistant ratings but none of the distributors will warrant damages caused by water. The 10+ deck is much larger than the 10X so it will be much larger.
I was able to see a lot of videos and photos promoting the VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final prototype, I found they didn’t come with the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d have EXA Form 290 shocks. EXA Form 290 shocks because they’re more comfortable.
The good thing is that the shocks are of a standard size so that it is easy to find and set up a replacement.

When I see an image of the VSETT 11+ in my view, I immediately visualize Captain America. There are some who have expressed their displeasure with the color of the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I can imagine dressing up in a Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is a 60V battery. I would like to have made this using an a 72V battery, but I bet they will release another 72V version in the future. It does offer dual stems which is always nice for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires which measure 4 inches in width. It has an sport mode similar to the 10+ that only lasts for 2 minutes , then it shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT line.
I wish the 11+ had the upgraded clamp we are seeing on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t choose to use the innovative clamp however I’d love to see it used on future renditions. Vsett 10+ Youtube.
