VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter than their VSETT 8. It offers adjustable suspension and handles that can be collapsed. Vsett 10+ Vs Dualtron Thunder. It has a larger deck, as well as an upgraded clamp which is comparable to the ones that you can find in the Rion scooters.
The clamp I saw in the VSETT 9 as well as Rion in person, I really liked the clamp for the VSETT 9 plus, 9+ and 10+ better. I think the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it was just an Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was as sturdy as the Rion however, it was equipped with two additional security features.
It is available in a black and teal shade that I’m certain my wife would love because she is a sucker for anything teal. It also locks into its own when folded. The hook that holds it in place when folded is also used as a bag hook once the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it has dual motors instead of a single motor. It’s available in the same color as the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I thought I would be most impressed with the 10+. However, the 9+ I was most surprised by.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motorbike with 650 watts, so I didn’t think much about it when looking at it on a specification sheet. But, when I finally got an opportunity to test drive it, I was blown away by how fast and zippy the scooter is. I was thinking that the 10+ was about to fly off and leave the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was able to keep up.
I typically prefer super-powered scooters but I could see me using the 9+ as a daily driver. It was fast but lightweight. (lightweight to me , but to some it would be heavy at 62 lbs) I was able to bunny hop on the 9+ and was able to get tons of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 can be described as the entry-level, affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 miles per hour and get about 25 miles actual usage. It has an adjustable rear shock and an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handles and locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will offer two battery models of the eight initially. With the electric braking front drum brake, rear drum brake and solid rear tire, it can aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It offers both rear and front swing arm suspension, which could be an improvement to the spring suspension that is small that comes with the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty similar as the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It is designed to climb bigger hills, have a higher speeds, and will never have flats as compared to VSETT 8. VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black, and is supposed to be a step above that of the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 10+ Vs Dualtron Thunder.
The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes which I prefer over Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires that are 3 inches wide. It comes with a strong clamp that resembles similar to the clamp on the RION scooters.
It does come with a sport mode button that is only active for two minutes before taking a 10 minute break. There have been complaints about this feature but I think it is an good method to avoid controller harm by overheating.
I like I love the fact that VSETT 10+ folds to itself after folding, because the ZERO 10X does not making it difficult to transport. The hook used to secure the scooter together doubles as a hanger for the bag you carry or your helmet when running into a store.
It has a IP44 waterproof rating. Although the scooter does have a water resistant rating however, none of the distributors will warrant damages caused by water. Its 10+ deck size is much larger than the 10X deck, which means it will be much larger.
I was able to see a lot of photos and videos marketing VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ that comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the prototype to its final version I realized that they didn’t come with the EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping that they’d come with one of the EXA Form 290 shocks because they are more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks are a traditional size which makes it easy to buy and set up a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
When I see the VSETT 11+ I instantly think of Captain America. Some people have voiced their displeasure with the colors on the VSETT 11+, but I am a fan of the style. I can imagine dressing up in an Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.
Okay, that’s enough about costumes, you likely came for the specs. The VSETT 11+ is the most popular scooter in the VSETT line. It has a gigantic headlight that looks like it was ripped off of a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is a 60V battery. I’d like to had come up with a 72V battery but I’m betting they’ll launch another 72V version in the near future. It does offer two stems which can be very helpful for stability.
The 11+ has 11 inch tires which measure 4 inches in width. It has a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it only lasts 2 minutes and shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter in the VSETT range.
I would like to see the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are seeing in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we’re getting the same clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t use the new clamp, however I’d love to see it used on future versions. Vsett 10+ Vs Dualtron Thunder.
