In contrast, even though Minimotors is unable to get its scooters certified IP, all of Vsett’s models are IP54 certified which makes them extremely durable as all-year-round scooters. VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly larger single motor scooter compared to their VSETT 8. It offers adjustable suspension and collapsible handlebars. Vsett 10+ Upgrades. It comes with a bigger deck and also has the upgraded clamp that is similar to the clamps you find in Rion scooters. Rion scooters.
When I saw clamp on the VSETT 9 as well as Rion in person, I really liked the clamp on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it was just the Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was equally strong as the Rion but it had two extra security features.
It’s available in a black and teal shade that I’m certain my wife would love because she’s a fan of anything teal. It also locks it when folded. The hook that holds it in place after folding, doubles up to become a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it comes with dual motors instead of just one motor. It’s available in the same colour of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I was thinking I was going to be most impressed with the 10+. However, the 9+ surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual motor scooter with 650 watts which is why I didn’t think about it while studying it on a spec sheet. But, when I finally got an opportunity to test drive the 9+ I was completely blown amazed by how swift and zippy the scooter is. I was worried that the 10+ was about to speed off, leaving the 9+ in the dust but it turned out to be able to keep up.
I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters however I could easily see myself using the 9+ as a daily driver. It was light and fast. (lightweight to me , but to some it could weigh 62 pounds.) I was able to bunny hop 9+, and it’s possible to get tons of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is an entry-level, cost-effective scooter of the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter made to go up to 25 miles per hour as well as get about 25 miles real usage range. It comes with an adjustable rear shock and an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handles and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two battery variants of this 8 first. Two versions will be one of the 15.6 amp-hour version with Chinese batteries. The other will be the 21 amp hour version that uses LG batteries. Vsett 10+ Upgrades.
With the electric braking front drum brake, rear drum brake and solid front tire it will help to keep maintenance down. It comes with front and rear swing arm suspension which should make a difference to the smaller spring suspension found included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty almost identical as VSETT 8 in a lot of ways. It’s similar to VSETT 8 but it has two motors with dual tires. It was designed to climb bigger hills as well as have a greater top speed, and never have flats like VSETT 8. VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black, and is believed to be a step up from that of the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 10+ Upgrades.
The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires, which are 3 inches wide. It offers the strong clamp that resembles similar to the clamp on the RION scooters.
It does have the sport mode button, which will only be activated for 2 minutes, and then take a 10 minute break. I have heard people complain about this feature but I find it to be an good way to prevent controller damage by overheating.
I love that the VSETT 10+ is able to fold in itself once folded, due to the fact that the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to transport. The hook that is used to secure the scooter together doubles into a hook to hang a bag or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof rating. Even though the scooter has an IP44 rating for water resistance, none of the distributors will guarantee water damage. The 10+ deck is bigger than the 10X so it will be much larger.
I saw many photos and videos marketing VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final prototype I realized that they do not have an EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d include one of the EXA Form 290 shocks since they are more comfortable.
The good news is that the shocks come in a traditional size so that it is easy to buy and install a replacement.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see an image of the VSETT 11+ I instantly imagine Captain America. There are some who have expressed their displeasure at the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I can imagine dressing up in the Captain America costume and riding the bike around for Halloween.
So, you’ve had enough about costumes, you probably came for the specs. VSETT 11+ VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that appears like it came from a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is a 60V battery. I would like to have made this using the 72V battery however I’m betting they’ll launch a 72V version in the near future. It has dual stems , which is always a nice feature to ensure stability.
The 11+ has 11 inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It also has a sport mode like the 10+ which is only for 2 minutes , then it shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT range.
I wish the 11+ had the same clamp that we are seeing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are using the same clamp used in the zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t use the unique clamp, but I would love to see it in future models. Vsett 10+ Upgrades.
