When I saw clamp in the VSETT 9 and Rion on the street, I really prefer the clamps on the VSETT 9, 9+ and 10+ better. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it was just an Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was just as robust as the Rion but it had two extra security features.
It comes in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife will love since she is a sucker for everything teal. It also locks it when folded. Hooks used to secure it in place after folding is also used as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it comes with dual motors instead of one motor. It is available in the same colour of the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I thought I would be most impressed with the 10+. However, the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
The VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much about it when studying the specs sheet. But, when I finally got an opportunity to test drive the 9+ I was completely blown amazed at how quick and smooth the bike is. I thought the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust but it turned out to be capable of keeping up.
I normally gravitate towards the super-powered scooters but I could see me having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight to me , but to some it would be heavy at 62 lbs) I was able to bunny hop on the 9+ and was able to get tons of fresh air on almost any flat surface.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 8 is an entry level and budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter designed to travel up to 25 mph and get about 25 miles actual usage. It features an adjustable rear shock and an oversized rear tire that can prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handles and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two battery versions of the 8 at first. With the electric braking front drum brake, rear drum brake and solid rear tire, it will help to keep maintenance down. It comes with the front and rear swing arm suspension which should be a significant improvement over the smaller spring suspension found that comes with the ZERO 8

The VSETT 8+ is pretty similar with it’s predecessor, the VSETT 8 but it has dual motors and two solid tires. It was built to go up higher slopes as well as have a greater top speed, and will never have flats compared to that of the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400 w motor beast. It is available in black and yellow. black and is said to be a step up from that of the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 10+ Mudguard.
The VSETT 10+ comes with hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over the Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires, which are three inches in width. It has a sturdy clamp that looks like the one on RION scooters. RION scooters.
There is a sport mode button that can only activate for 2 minutes and then take breaks of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, however I think it is a good method to avoid controller damages due to overheating.
I like I love the fact that VSETT 10+ is able to fold in itself once folded, because the ZERO 10X isn’t making it hard for portability. The hook that is used to lock the scooter together doubles as a hanger for the bag you carry or your helmet when running into a store.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof rating. Even though the scooter has a water resistant rating, no distributor will guarantee damages caused by water. The 10+ deck is bigger than the 10X, so it is expected to be very big.
I was able to see a lot of photos and videos marketing the VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final prototype, I found they don’t have an EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks since they are more comfortable.
The good news is that shocks are a traditional size, making it simple to purchase and set up a replacement.

The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires that measure 4 inches in width. It comes with a sport mode like the 10+ which is only for 2 minutes and shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.
I’d like to see that the 11+ had the same clamp that we are experiencing on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we are using the same clamp that is used on the Zero 11X. It’s hard to tell why they didn’t utilize the new clamp, however I’d love to see it in future models. Vsett 10+ Mudguard.
