VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 9 is the VSETT 9 is their slightly bigger single motor scooter than the VSETT 8. It comes with adjustable suspension and the ability to collapse the handlebars. Vsett 10+ 20.8ah. It is larger than the deck and also has the upgraded clamp that is similar to the ones you see with the Rion scooters.
When I saw clamp on the VSETT 9 as well as Rion personally, I actually liked the clamp that was on the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is very strong, however it was just an Velcro strap that was used to secure it. The clamp on the VSETT scooters was just as strong as the Rion however, it was equipped with two extra security features.
It’s available in a teal and black color that I’m sure my wife would love because she’s a fan of all things teal. It also locks it when folded. The hook that holds it in place after folding, doubles up as a bag hook when the scooter is unfolded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it is equipped with two motors instead of a single motor. It comes in the exact colour of the 9. When I first saw the VSETT line, I was thinking I would be most impressed by the 10+. However, the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter which is why I didn’t think about it while reviewing it on a spec sheet. But, when I finally got an opportunity to test drive the 9+, I was blown amazed by how swift and smooth the bike is. I was thinking that the 10+ was going to speed off, leaving the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was able to keep up.
I usually prefer powerful scooters, but I could definitely see me taking the 9+ as a daily driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight to me but to some it might weigh in at 62lbs.) I learned to bunny hop 9+ and you’re able to get a ton of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 is the entry level and budget friendly scooter for the VSETT line. It’s a single motor commuter made to go up to 25 miles per hour and get about 25 miles of real usage range. It has an adjustable rear shock as well as a solid rear tire to prevent flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable bar height, collapsible handlebars as well as a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will be carrying two batteries versions of the 8 initially. The two models will have the 15.6 amp hour version that uses Chinese batteries and the other will include the version with 21 amps using LG batteries. Vsett 10+ 20.8ah.
With the electric braking, rear drum brake and the solid front tire it should aid in keeping maintenance to a minimum. It has both rear and front swing arm suspension which should make a difference to the small spring suspension included in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical as the VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It’s specifically designed to climb higher hills, have a higher top speed, and does not have flats as compared to that of the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400 w motor beast. It comes in yellow and black, and is supposed to be a step up from that of the ZERO 10X. I’ve seen it referred to it as looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Vsett 10+ 20.8ah.
The VSETT 10+ has hydraulic Nutt brakes that I would prefer over Zoom brakes. It offers 10 inch tires that measure just 3 inches long. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to that of it’s RION scooters.
It does have an option for sport mode that will only be activated for 2 minutes before taking breaks of 10 minutes. I’ve heard of people complaining about this feature, but I believe it’s a good way to prevent controller damage from overheating.
I love I love the fact that VSETT 10+ folds to itself after folding since the ZERO 10X isn’t making it hard for portability. The hook that is used to secure the scooter together doubles up as a hook for bags or helmets when running into a store.
It has a IP44 waterproof resistant rating. Although the scooter is equipped with a water resistant rating however, no distributor will warranty the damage caused by water. Its 10+ deck size is much larger than the 10X deck, which means it should be very large.
I saw many photos and videos marketing VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+, which comes with EXA Form 290 shocks. After riding the final model, I found they do not have any of the EXA Form 290 shock. I had hoped they’d have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks as they’re more comfortable.
The good news is that the shocks are a traditional size which makes it easy to find and install a new.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Whenever I see an image of the VSETT 11+ I instantly visualize Captain America. A few people have expressed their displeasure with the color scheme on the VSETT 11+, but I love the design. I imagine getting dressed up in an Captain America costume and riding the scooter on Halloween.
Okay, enough about costumes, you likely came for the specs. It’s the VSETT 11+ is the top of the line scooter from the VSETT line. It comes with a huge headlight that looks like it came off of motorcyle.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still it is a 60V battery. I do wish they would have made this using an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch a 72V version in the future. It comes with dual stems which can be very helpful for stability.
The 11+ comes with 11-inch tires that are 4 inches wide. It comes with a sport mode like the 10+, but it only lasts for two minutes, and then shuts down after 10 minutes. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT line.
I wish the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are seeing in the 10+ as well as 9+. Instead, we are seeing the same type of clamp used in the zero 11X. Not sure why they didn’t utilize the new clamp, but I’d like to see it used on future models. Vsett 10+ 20.8ah.
