Acceleration

It is the Varla Eagle Pro’s acceleration is not typical of light heavyweight scooters-it is far superior. Varla Scooter Dealer. It is tested to have an acceleration of 2.1 seconds up to 15 mmh mark. This is what is you would expect from heavyweights with a long history like the Wolf Warrior 11 at 1.9 seconds, Dualtron Thunder at 2.0 seconds and Dualtron Thunder II at 2.2 seconds. Top Speed

We are awestruck by our love for the Varla Eagle Pro’s top speed, especially for the price. The scooter manages a whopping forty mph top speed, which is much higher than the average when it is compared with other scooters that are in the same price bracket. The more expensive Kaabo Mantis Pro only hits 37 mph top speed, while the Inokim OXO, still at the higher cost is only able to reach 36 mmh.

However it also faces competition from lower-priced models such as that of the Wolf Warrior X Pro which has a top speed that is 43 mph, while the similar priced Vsett 10+ reaches 43,5 mph.

In terms of weight, the scooter stands in its weight class and is in a league of its own and only is comparable to that of the first Dualtron Thunder.

Hill Climb

The Varla Eagle Pro electronic scooter is remarkable for many things including hill-climbing, which is certainly one of them. Range

Nothing beats the good miles on an electric scooter which is why the Varla Eagle Pro scooter has a reasonable 58 km of range tested. Interestingly, the only scooter within $400 from that of the Eagle One Pro that can outdo it in the range is the Wolf Warrior X Pro, with a tested range that was 41 miles. It outran other scooters that cost more, e.g., the Kaabo Mantis Pro with a 33 mile of range. Dualtron Eagle Pro at 32 miles along with the Vsett 10+ at 33 miles.

Behind the range is a high capacity, 60V 24 Ah battery with 1440 Wh of energy. It’s bigger and has more energy-dense 21700 cells in the battery. This is a step up from the predecessor, called the Eagle One, whose battery was classified at 946 wh, and only came with 18650 lithium cells. Both batteries are equipped with smart battery management systems to preserve life. The process of charging the battery to its capacity can take between 8 and 9 hours, however you can purchase an additional charger to reduce charging time to 4-5 hours.

 

Braking

Let’s face it, we would like to see all scooters have hydraulic brakes. That’s not to say that electric scooters equipped with cable brakes are unsafe or unreliable when they come to stopping. The EABS will stop that the brakes aren’t locking up. They are adjustable via the P-settings that are displayed on the display. You can set them in between zero and two where 0 is on a weak setting, and 2 is for a high setting.

 

Ride Quality

Ride quality can be described as decent, but it’s not great. The caveat they never mention when advertising all-terrain electric scooters is that they are primarily focused on off-roading features.

The pneumatic road tires with no tube are ideal for comfort, particularly when traveling offroad. The tubeless nature of these tires is ideal for evading pinch flats from rocks. If, however, you’re buying the scooter to ride primarily off roads, then it’s better to switch to self-sealing, tubeless knobby tires. They will automatically increase the traction of your scooter, maintain your comfort, and decrease maintenance. Additionally, due to the tires and a 17 centimeter clearance from the ground, obstacles in the track will not scrape the underdeck

The suspension is hard. The Varla Eagle Pro would benefit more from adjustable shocks or the spring to lower spring rates. The stiff suspension is efficient when taking on large bumps, and prevents the scooter from bottoming out. On well-maintained tracks the suspension is somewhat bouncy for comfort.

The Eagle Pro also comes with a built-in steering damper. When driving at high speeds and straight tracks, riders will experience excellent stability. At top speed, the stability does not equal that of dual stem beasts like the Wolf King GT but rather feels like the Dualtron Thunder or Nami Burn with a damper for steering installed. The downside is that the steering damper also makes it so that drivers will need to exert more force on the bar handles when trying to negotiate turns.

The deck is yet another area to be concerned about. It’s too narrow and due to this lack of usable deck real estate, riders are constantly forced to put their back foot on the footrest which isn’t ergonomically designed. One bright spot is that the Varla Eagle Pro compensates for a poor stance with an ergonomically laid-out cockpit that is easy to hold. It was designed to be comfortable and ease of use. Its controls are also ergonomically designed to complement the clear, large 9 centimeter display.

Overall, between the heavy feeling of the steering and the athletic riding stance, and the intense acceleration, the Eagle One Pro is exhilarating to ride, but it can also be quite a workout when you’re on the road for a long time.

What Makes the Pro Version Different From Eagle One

  • There were significant upgrades that Varla made to the first Eagle One to get the Pro. Here are a few of the major variations:
  • The Pro has a higher stated top speed at 45 mph in comparison to the original Eagle One has a manufacturer-cited top speed of 40 mph. There’s not much difference.
  • The Pro is equipped with 1440 Wh of battery while the Eagle One’s is rated 946 Wh. There’s a difference of 52% which means a higher mileage with the Pro.
