Learn regarding Varla’s Eagle One and toss it out the window. It’s the Varla Eagle One is out, and it is nothing like the one it replaced. It’s not only about the 52% larger battery, even though it has some significance–more on that later.

The Eagle One Pro is Varla’s first beast scooter, and it seems there will be a lot of high-performance, flagship scooters this year. This is a an allusion to Segway’s GT Series and the brand new Apollo Pro.

Varla’s Eagle One Pro sits on the edge of being a light heavyweight scooter with specs borrowed from beast scooters. It is heavier than its lightweight weights Apollo Phantom, Vsett 10+ as well as the Kaabo Mantis Pro, which weighs 79 lbs. It also has 11 inches of road tires that are typical of beast scooters such as Wolf King GT and the Storm as well as the Wolf King GT.

It’s a great scooter. Varla Eagle One Pro scooter is also impressive with a well over the norm top speed in dollars, a remarkable distance per pound and great braking for every dollar. It’s not even the greatest feature. This off-road scooter is priced at about $640 less than its closest rivals, Segways GT1 and the Wolf Warrior 11. Varla Pegasus For Sale.

Thanks to the large tires-something that you’re always hoping to hear about-the scooter offers a great ground clearance, with a total of 36 inches. They’re also good for traction, but could be better. The suspension feels stiff and bouncy when riding urban trails, but the stiffness can be useful when traveling off-road. You might not like the narrow deck or uncomfortably shaped kickplate, particularly off-road.

Acceleration

Varla Eagle Pro Varla Eagle Pro’s acceleration does not match that of lighter heavyweight scooters, it is far superior. Varla Pegasus For Sale. It has a tested acceleration rate of 2.1 seconds, which is close to the 15 millimeters mark. This is the performance typical of heavyweights from the past like those of Wolf Warrior 11 at 1.9 seconds, Dualtron Thunder at 2.0 seconds as well as it’s Dualtron Thunder II at 2.2 seconds. The Varla Eagle Pro’s only competition in the light heavyweight class includes Vsett 10+. Vsett 10+ with a 1.9 seconds acceleration between 15 and 15 mph.

Eagle One Pro Eagle One Pro uses the same throttle as the NAMI and Wolf King GT, which means that it also has similar dead zones. You might want to find an angle that will anchor your thumb in order to keep it in place and provide it an anchor point when engaged.

Top Speed

We love the Varla Eagle Pro’s top speed, especially for its price. The scooter boasts a whopping 40 mph top speed, which is a lot higher than normal when contrasted with other scooters that are in the same price bracket. The more expensive Kaabo Mantis Pro only hits 37 mph top speed, while the Inokim OXO, still at an expensive price is only able to reach 36 mmh.

However, it also faces competition from lower-priced models like the Wolf Warrior X Pro which has an top speed of 43 mph and the comparable Vsett 10+ reaches 43,5 mph.

In terms of weight, the scooter stands in its weight class and is in a league of its own and can be compared with the original Dualtron Thunder.

Hill Climb

Its Varla Eagle Pro scooter is amazing for a variety of things including hill-climbing, which is certainly one of the best. The electric scooter can climb hills without losing too much power, and does not seem to slow down on heavy riders or low battery conditions. When we conducted our 60-meter hill test at a 10% slope and a 10% gradient, the scooter was able to maintain the speed of 17 mph (and more than) until about 10% charge. Varla Pegasus For Sale.

The company attributes the impressive climb to the sturdy dual motors that are rated at 1000W each, with a peak power of 2600W. Varla claims that the motors produce the equivalent of 36 Nm or torque enough to push the scooter upwards up to 35deg.

Range

Nothing beats good mileage on an electric scooter and this Varla Eagle Pro scooter has a reasonable distance of 58 kilometers in its tested range. Interestingly, the only scooter within $400 of its Eagle One Pro that can outdo it in the range is the Wolf Warrior X Pro, with a test range to 41 miles. It outran other scooters with higher prices, e.g., the Kaabo Mantis Pro with a 33 miles range, Dualtron Eagle Pro at 32 miles, along with the Vsett 10+ with 33 miles.

The battery behind the range is a high capacity battery of 60V 24 Ah that has 1440 Wh of power. It is larger and more efficient with 21700 cell batteries. It’s a leap from its predecessor, the Eagle One, whose battery was valued at 946 wh and had only 18650 lithium cells. Both batteries have smart battery management systems to preserve life. Charge the battery up to capacity takes 8-9 hrs, but you can secure another charger, and cut down the charge times to around 4 to 5 hours.

Braking

Let’s face it; we wish all scooters had hydraulic brakes. That’s not to say that electric scooters with cable brakes aren’t dangerous or insecure when they come to stopping. Absolutely not. In fact the cable brakes as well as EABS of the Varla Eagle Pro feature tested braking power that is truly impressive and easy to get right. Varla Pegasus For Sale.

The e-scooter can stop in only 3 meters from the speed of 15 mph. This is in line with that of the Vsett 10, which is 10+. Again, the Varla Eagle’s stopping power outdoes those of the Kaabo Wolf King, Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Pro, NAMI Burn-E and Nami BURN-E2.

It’s possible that you don’t like squeezing the levers that are powered by cables in the Varla Eagle Pro like you would with an electric scooter with hydraulic brakes, but the Pro’s mechanical disc brakes don’t leave much on the table when it comes to performance.

The EABS prevents that the brakes aren’t locking up. They are adjustable via the P-settings on the display. You can set them in between zero and two where 0 is on an insufficient setting, while 2 refers to a strong setting.

Ride Quality

The ride quality is good however, it’s not exceptional. The only thing they don’t mention when promoting all-terrain e-scooters is that priority falls on the off-roading measures.

The pneumatic road tires with no tube are great for comfort, particularly when driving offroad. The tubeless nature of these tires is ideal for evading pinch flats from rocks. However, if you’re getting the scooter to ride primarily off urban tracks, you’d be better off switching to self-sealing knobby tires. These would automatically double your traction, retain your comfort, and reduce maintenance. Also, thanks to the tires and 17 centimeter ground clearance, obstacles in the track will not scrape the underdeck

The suspension system feels stiff. The Varla Eagle Pro could have been better off with adjustable shocks or a spring with less spring force. However, the stiff setup is efficient when dealing with large bumps and keeps the scooter from bottoming out. If the track is well maintained, the suspension feels somewhat bouncy for comfort.

It is also equipped with a steering damper. Eagle Pro also comes with an inbuilt steering damper. In high-speed as well as straight track, riders will enjoy excellent stability. At top speed, the stability does not equal the stability from dual-stem beasts like the Wolf King GT but rather feels like a Dualtron Thunder or Nami Burn with a damper for steering installed. However, the damper for steering also means that riders will be forced to work harder on the bar handles when making turns.

The deck is yet another area of concern. It’s too narrow and due to this lack of deck real estate it is a constant struggle for riders to place the back foot on the footrest, which isn’t ergonomically designed. The only bright side to this model is that Varla Eagle Pro makes up for its poor posture with an ergonomically laid-out cockpit that is comfortable on your hands. It was designed to be comfortable and user-friendliness. Controls can be also ergonomically designed to complement the well-readable, large 9 centimeter screen.

Overall, with the heavy feel of the steering, the sporty riding stance and the fast acceleration The Eagle One Pro is exhilarating to ride but could also be quite workout when you’re on the road for a long time.
