VSETT 9 E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9 is their slightly bigger single motor scooter than their VSETT 8. It has adjustable suspension as well as collapsible handlebars. Kaapo Vs Sett. It comes with a bigger deck and also has the upgraded clamp that is similar to the ones you see in the Rion scooters.
When I saw clamp that was on VSETT 9, and Rion personally, I actually preferred the clamp for the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. It’s true that the Rion clamp is sturdy, but it was just a Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was as strong as the Rion however it came with two additional safety features.
It’s available in a black and teal shade that I’m certain my wife will love since she is a sucker for anything teal. It also locks into itself when folded. The hook used to lock it in place when folded can also double as a bag hook when the scooter is folded.
VSETT 9+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 however it has dual motors instead of a single motor. It is available in the same colour of the 9. When I first started looking at the VSETT line, I thought I would be the most impressed by the 10+, but the 9+ is what surprised me the most.
It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter and I wasn’t thinking much about it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I got the chance to test ride the 9+, I was completely blown amazed by how swift and zippy the scooter is. I was worried that the 10+ would be the first to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust, but surprisingly it was capable of keeping up.
I usually prefer powerful scooters, but I could definitely see myself taking the 9+ as a day-to-day driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight for me, but to some it would be heavy at 62 lbs) I learned to bunny hop 9+ and was able to get tons of air even on flat ground.
VSETT 8 E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8 VSETT 8 is an entry-level and affordable scooter in the VSETT line. It’s a single-motor commuter that can go up to 25 miles per hour in a single motor and get about 25 miles of real-world usage. It has an adjustable rear shock as well as a the rear tire is solid to avoid flats.
The VSETT 8 offers an adjustable handlebar height, collapsible handlebars and a locking folding mechanism. REV Rides will carry two battery models of the eight at first. The two models will have one of the 15.6 amp hour model using Chinese batteries, and the second version will be the 21 amp hour version using LG batteries. Kaapo Vs Sett.
With its electric brakes with rear drum brake as well as solid rear tire, it should assist in keeping maintenance low. It comes with the front and rear swing arm suspension that can be an improvement to the smaller spring suspension found in the ZERO 8
VSETT 8+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
VSETT 8+ VSETT 8+ is pretty much identical with VSETT 8 in a lot of ways. It’s similar to VSETT 8 but it has two motors in addition to two solid tires. It’s designed to climb bigger hills and has a higher speeds, and will never have flats like that of the VSETT 8.
VSETT 10+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
The VSETT 10+ is a dual 1400 w motor beast. It is available in black and yellow. black, and is believed to be a step up from the ZERO 10X. I have seen people refer to it looking like the Bumblebee Transformer. Kaapo Vs Sett.
The VSETT 10+ features hydraulic Nutt brakes, which I like over the Zoom brakes. It comes with 10 inch tires that are three inches in width. It offers the strong clamp that looks similar to that of it’s RION scooters.
It does have an option for sport mode that can only activate for 2 minutes and then take an interval of 10 minutes. There have been complaints about this feature, however I believe it’s a good method to avoid controller damage by overheating.
I love I love the fact that VSETT 10+ is able to fold into itself when folded, due to the fact that the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it difficult to transport. The hook used to keep the scooter together doubles up as a hook for a bag or your helmet while you’re in a store.
It comes with an IP44 waterproof resistant rating. Although the scooter does have a water resistant rating, no distributor will warrant water damage. This deck, 10+ is bigger than the 10X deck, which means it should be very large.
I saw a ton of videos and photos promoting VSETT 10+. VSETT 10+ with EXA Form 290 shocks. However, after testing the final model, I found they didn’t come with an EXA Form 290 shock. I was hoping they would have one of the EXA Form 290 shocks because they are more comfortable.
The good news is that the shocks come in a traditional size which makes it easy to find and install a new.
VSETT 11+ E-Scooter Specs and Features
Every time I look at an image of the VSETT 11+, I instantly think of Captain America. Some people have voiced their displeasure with the color of the VSETT 11+, however I am a fan of the style. I can imagine dressing up in the Captain America costume and riding the scooter around on Halloween.
Well enough about costumes, you probably were looking for specs. It’s the VSETT 11+ is the most popular scooter in the VSETT line. It features a massive headlight that appears like it came from a motorbike.
The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors but still a 60V battery. I do wish they would have created this with the 72V battery however I’m betting they’ll launch another 72V version in the near future. It comes with dual stems , which is always a nice feature to ensure stability.
The 11+ comes with 11 inch tires which measure 4 inches in width. It comes with a sport mode , similar to the 10+, but it is only for 2 minutes and shuts off for 10 minutes. It’s the largest scooter of the VSETT range.
I’d like to see that the 11+ came with the upgraded clamp we are experiencing for the 9+ and the 10+. Instead, we are getting the same clamp used in the zero 11X. I’m not sure why they didn’t choose to use the new clamp, but I would love to see it on future versions. Kaapo Vs Sett.
